They look a lot alike!

I've been wanting to do a post and put some baby pictures of S and of L next to each other since they look so much alike. I know there are some major differences like boy and girl and almost bald and red hair, but that smile is pretty much the same. Sometimes for me it really feels like deja voo and I have S all over again. The bottom pictures are some cute ones of all of them ready for Halloween.

K turns 3!

On September 28th our big baby boy turned 3! I can't believe it! I'm still kind of weepy from just having a baby so it was hard for me to process. Lately I stare at all of their baby pictures and just can't believe how fast life flies by!
He started pre-K on his birthday and he has been potty training and doing fairly well with it! At least no accidents at school and we do have him in underwear all day and a night diaper at night. He keeps having minor accidents when he gets too focused on playing or TV. We are still sooo proud of him! Very exciting to only have little baby diapers to change during the day.

K loves to do everything that his big brother does. One of his big presents was a blue bike so now he and S have a bike that is the same size. He has trouble riding it, but will no doubt get the hang of it soon. He still loves to give big hugs and loves to cuddle with us any chance he gets. He also loves to hold his little sister. K still loves all that boy stuff like cars, legos, trains, dinosaurs, ect. They probably don't grow out of that for awhile right? I love that both he and S are getting better at their pretend play together. So fun to watch, or listen too, when I am not in the same room as them. K is such a joy and a challenge, but we love him so much and can't picture our little family without him! Happy Birthday big boy (baby boy) ;0)

Baby Blessing and Labor Day Fun

We had some of A's family vist for Labor Day weekend and we also blessed Baby L that Sunday. I LOVE having company and just wished we had more space in our little home to make it more comfortable for everyone. Right now I really wish we had another bedroom upstairs for our sweet baby, oh well someday we will have more space. :0) We had a great visit with the family and S and K especially loved spending time with their cousins. It was sad to see them go and the weekend flew by too fast. We wished we lived closer.
Baby L's blessing was really special to have more family to share it with and of course having our first daughter really made the whole event sweeter. L was able to wear the dress that my godmother made for me when I was christened as a baby. So wonderful! My mom was able to locate it about a week before the blessing. I could not have been happier! (I had a pretty back up dress for her that I obtained from a church swap that reminded me of my original dress just in case my mom couldn't find it) Lots of fun memories!

First Day of School

This is the beginning of a lot of posts that I need to catch up on. This year S continues pre-K for his second year and he goes four afternoons a week which is great! And K started his first year of pre-K and goes three mornings a week which is the same schedule S had last year. I love this program because they have all the same teachers. I also love spending time with just one of them and baby L. More posts soon!
