Happy Easter!

We had a really nice Easter Sunday this year. We went to church and then we had a nice dinner with my mom at her house this year. They always do a fun egg hunt for all the kids in their yard. It is fun to watch your kids get older and be able to participate in things like that. I don't have any pictures from their house, but I have some before we went to church and of the eggs we colored. Birthday Party

So I know this post is a month late and way past S's birthday party, but I have to get caught up somehow. :0) We had a low-key family and a few friends party at our house for S this year. I think he had a good time though! He loves parties, friends, and family so he was all set. I wonder what age you have to start throwing those friends only/no parents parties? When they turn 5 or 6? I guess I have a little more time. :0) We did a Star Wars/space theme with the cake being a rocket cake made by A, but someone said it looked like a tugboat and it is hard to get that image out of your head once someone says it. I thought it was great and I love how much time and effort A puts into making our boys birthday cakes really special. We truly lucked out with the weather this year and fun was had by all!
